Dear Parents and Students,
On behalf of everyone at HardCor Performing Arts, we want to take this opportunity to extended a heartfelt “Welcome” to each of you! Whether you are a returning family or this is your first year with us, we are pleased that you have selected our studio and know you will have an exciting year with us.
We are feeling “On Cloud Nine” as we head into our Ninth Season! Seeing the growth our students make each season brings us joy that words cannot explain. Our end of the year recital is our favorite event each season and we look forward to seeing all of our student’s hard work and dedication come to life on stage. We plan to continue with our split format for recitals (Children’s Recital and Big Show). Both shows will take place over Memorial Day weekend in May of 2027 this season. Another reason we are feeling “On Cloud Nine” is because of the success our competitive teams continue to have each season. HardCor Performing Arts was named the “Top Studio” at three of our competitions in Season 8 and continued to receive top honors, including Grand National Champions! None of this success would be possible without our supportive and loyal dance families. We look forward to creating more memories with our HardCor Family this season, as we continue to feel “On Cloud Nine”.
We will be holding registration at the studio August 11th and 12th from 2:00-8:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for our staff to meet your dancers and tumblers and answer any questions you may have. If you have trained elsewhere, we will set up an evaluation to see your child’s dance or tumbling ability, so that we may place them at the proper class level. You can register your child either ONLINE or by filling out the registration forms. Both of these options are available on our website, www.hardcorperformingarts.com. You can mail your forms along with your registration fee ($30 per student, to a maximum of two per family) to: HardCor Performing Arts, 2605 4th Avenue South, Denison, IA 51442.
For your convenience, we stock new dance shoes. We also offer you the opportunity to buy or sell used shoes at half price during the registration season. Our “shoe evenings” will be August 11th and 12th from 2:00-8:00 p.m. You may bring in any used shoes you wish to sell on any of these days. Please have your shoes marked with your child’s name and size on the inside sole of each shoe. We will not accept any shoes that are worn out, painted, or damaged in any way that will hinder dancing ability. If you are unable to come in for shoes on the above dates, a “last chance” shoe night will be held on August 24th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. We would like all dancers to have their shoes before classes begin.
